With focus on connection, shared spaces, and mutual support, a number of inspiring projects across the region are helping to boost mental well-being.

In Gwersyllt and Rhos, community gardens are flourishing, offering residents the chance to grow fresh produce while building friendships. Meanwhile, Luch and Company at Alyn Waters is helping to tackle loneliness by bringing together over-55s to share warm meals in good company.

Support for local causes is also being strengthened through Tesco Stronger Starts, a funding initiative aiding schools, charities, and community groups. Environmental wellbeing is not forgotten either – projects like Parc Adfer are enhancing green spaces for all, while the Clywedog Valley partnership connects residents with local heritage, strengthening community identity and pride.
