The family-friendly Summer Food Fair returns to Alyn Waters Country Park this month, celebrating local traders from across Wrexham and surrounding areas.
Held at Venue in the Park, local charity Groundwork North Wales are excited to showcase North Wales’ local traders once more after the success of their food fair last Summer which saw hundreds from the community come together and support local businesses.
Attendees will find a great variety of stalls on 29th June, from delicious baked goods, locally produced ciders and liqueurs, home-grown pressed sunflower oils, gluten free treats, vegan cheese and more!
Organiser of the event Amy Rutter says “Each Food Fair we’ve held at Alyn Waters Country Park has gone from success to success, welcoming more of the community and it’s wonderful businesses. It’s great to see so many people come together over their love of food. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back this year.”
The Summer Food Fair will be open from 11am – 3pm on Saturday 29th June for visitors to drop by and browse local produce. There will also be face painting and activities for children to enjoy at the event. Visitors can explore the surrounding country park after a visit to the fair, making this a great day out for the whole family.
