Groundwork North Wales is offering fantastic outdoor volunteering activities across Wrexham.
Opportunities for individuals to get involved in their local community, to help in improving the local habitat and biodiversity of the area and supporting the local environment.
Volunteering is a great way to give back, meet new people, experience the outdoors, and gain valuable skills. It’s an opportunity for people looking to build up their experiences for their CV or wanting to try something new.
Last year volunteers gave over 15,000 hours to Groundwork North Wales projects making a huge impact on local communities. They helped improve local green spaces through wildflower and pollinator friendly bulb planting initiatives, they cleared pathways and helped removed over 2,000kgs of waste from public spaces.
People of all ages, abilities and backgrounds are encouraged to get involved, no experience is necessary, all equipment and tools are provided, and we even provide a brew!
Volunteers can get involved at various locations across Wrexham including Tuesday mornings from 10am at Minera Lead Mines, B5426, Minera, Wrexham LL11 3DU, Wednesday mornings from 10am at King’s Mills and a Friday session from 10am for 18-24 years which will cover lots of different places in Wrexham and transport can be provided.
