Groundwork North Wales is committed to empowering young people through the work their Youth Team provides in communities across North Wales.

Our youth-focused projects, such as the Next Steps and the Safer Streets, are designed to empower young individuals aged 16-24, helping them develop essential life skills, build confidence, and make informed choices. Whether it's preparing for further education, seeking employment, or actively contributing to community safety, these initiatives offer a nurturing environment for personal development.

The Next Steps Project

This project, aimed at 16-24 year olds, focuses on helping young people grow, develop new skills, and build self-confidence. Through tailored support, participants gain valuable experience to prepare them for further education, training, or employment. The goal is to equip these young adults with the tools they need to thrive.

Safer Streets Project

Through youth engagement sessions in Wrexham and Flintshire, the Safer Streets project promotes community safety. Participants explore topics related to personal safety and making positive choices. These interactive sessions empower young people to make informed decisions and contribute to building stronger, more resilient communities.

Our youth-focused projects are designed to empower young people, helping them build valuable skills, confidence, and make positive choices. From preparing for further education and careers, to promoting community safety and individual responsibility.
