Thanks to funding from the Co-op Community Fund Groundwork North Wales is launching a Youth Committee
The Youth Committee will allow young people to shape future Groundwork North Wales projects on issues which matter to them. The project will provide young people with an opportunity to use their voices on issues which matter to them, and to shape our plans and proposals for future work which will tackle these issues.
Members of the committee will be able to influence our decisions, share their knowledge and new ideas and ensure we are meeting the needs of young people. Young people will be actively involved for decisions which affect their futures. This could include work linked to mental health, climate change, equality, skills and employment.
Anyone aged 16-21 living in Wrexham or Flintshire can join the committee. The Youth Team here at Groundwork North Wales will be on hand to support the Youth Committee to ensure their voices are heard. Travel expenses can be paid to members along with free refreshments and activity sessions for getting involved.
If you would like to get involved with the Youth Committee or know anyone who would like to get involved with the Youth Committee, please get in touch lisa.jones@groundworknorthwales.org.uk / 01978 757524.
